Job Vacancy: Clinical Orthotist

Job summary:

The post holder will be one of MOBILIS Orthotics and Prosthetics Centre’s primary clinical orthotists, responsible for assessing clients/patients in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team as needed, and ensuring that orthotic treatment is delivered according to best practice.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

 Work as a licensed orthotist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to achieve patient/customer/organizational requirements

 Measuring, Scanning/casting and fitting P&O devices.

 Deliver the P&O service by embracing evidence-based medicine.

 Achieve the objectives set by the business.

 Write assessment reports and update day-to-day clinical notes as per the DHA,DOH guidelines.

 Where applicable, liaise with the Workshop Manager / Designated Quality Authority to address identified quality problems and assist in providing effective solutions.

 To participate in continuing professional development.

Skills & Personal Attributes

The position requires the job holder to possess: –
 Proven practical experience minimum 5-7 years as an Orthotist.
 Committed to the highest standards of patient care and practice.
 Proven experience in motivating and working within high performing teams.

Qualifications and essential criteria

 Certified Orthotist with Degree or Masters
 Dubai Health Authority [DHA] licensed [ The company will assist to attend the exam during probation period]
